LIQUID DEATH

how it started.

These ads are developed from my Copywriting for Print and Web course I took during Spring 2022. The goal: get people to drink or even know of the brand Liquid Death, for their pristine mountain water in a cool "tall-boy"-esque can. Follow along to see the step-by-step process. 

the bones.

These were truly "rough" roughs. I was shooting off some ideas that 1.) matched the brand voice of spunky brand Liquid Death, and 2.) were catchy and followed some sort of theme. I really liked the one-liner headlines. Also, a lot of my puns were about the tall-boy can that the water comes in - because how can you ignore that?

It's called rough for a reason, okay? These were my mock-ups. After countless attempts and trial-and-error, this is what I came upon.

In 2023, I decided to bring these print ads to life with Canva.
